Meet Sydney!

As a Dental Hygienist at Gateway Dental, I’m passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. I focus on providing preventative care and educating patients on the importance of good oral hygiene, with the goal of supporting their long-term oral health and confidence.

I chose to pursue a career in dental hygiene because of my deep interest in both healthcare and building strong, trusting relationships with patients. I wanted a profession that allowed me to make a direct impact on people’s well-being while helping them feel more confident in their smiles.

I graduated with honours from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries in 2021, and in 2023, I furthered my expertise by completing a Local Anesthesia course at the University of British Columbia.

Meet Joanne!

I am a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2021. Before pursuing my current career, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and gained valuable experience as a Human Resources Manager at a multinational company. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, with some knowledge of Japanese, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work.
